The Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) has officially announced an urgent recruitment notification for ex-servicemen to join as security staff across various WAPDA project sites in Pakistan. Applications are invited from eligible retired armed forces personnel to fill contract-based security vacancies, including Security Inspector (BPS-15), Security Sergeant (BPS-08), and Security Guard (BPS-06).
Applicants must have completed at least 08 years of service in the Armed Forces with an “A” category medical standard. Selected candidates can be posted at any WAPDA project site across the country. Special preference, along with relaxed educational criteria (minimum Middle or equivalent), is offered to ex-servicemen from Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK). The recruitment will be made on a lump-sum contract basis for 3 years, extendable based on satisfactory performance.
Interested applicants must deposit a test fee of Rs. 300/- in any branch of National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) using account details under DG Finance (B&C) WAPDA. Complete application packages—comprising a plain-paper application with full contact details, CNIC copy, Army Discharge Book, educational certificates, and fee deposit receipt—must reach the Security Directorate, WAPDA House, Lahore, within 10 days of advertisement publication.
