The Neelum Jhelum Hydropower Company (Private) Limited, a subsidiary under WAPDA’s “Decade of Dams” initiative, is seeking a qualified and experienced professional for the position of Company Secretary. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to one of Pakistan’s landmark hydropower projects, ensuring compliance with corporate governance standards and enhancing operational efficiency.
Position Details
Post: Company Secretary
Location: Islamabad – WAPDA Mega Complex, Kashmir Chowk
Tenure: 3 years (including 6 months probation), extendable based on performance
Pay Package: Competitive, market-based (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification:
Member of a recognized body of professional accountants, OR
Member of a recognized body of corporate/chartered secretaries, OR
Master’s degree in Commerce/Law/Business Administration from an HEC-recognized university.
Experience: Minimum 10 years in public/private sector company boards, with expertise in:
Company law & corporate governance rules
Coordination with SECP and other regulators
Conducting Board/AGM meetings
Drafting resolutions, agendas, and minutes
General Conditions
