Planning & Development Department Balochistan Jobs 2025 – Project Director Vacancy

The Planning & Development Department, Government of Balochistan, invites applications from highly qualified, experienced, and motivated professionals for the position of Project Director (PPS-11) under a PSDP-funded, foreign-assisted development project. This position is offered on a contract basis and requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and proven experience in managing large-scale development projects.

The selected candidate will be responsible for overall project leadership, including planning, execution, coordination, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of project activities. The Project Director will ensure that the project is implemented in accordance with government policies, donor requirements, timelines, and approved budgets.

Key responsibilities include developing detailed project plans, supervising technical and administrative staff, managing financial and procurement processes, and ensuring effective coordination with donor agencies, government departments, consultants, and other stakeholders. The role also involves preparing periodic progress reports, addressing implementation challenges, ensuring quality control, and maintaining transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.

The candidate must possess strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills, along with hands-on experience in development planning, infrastructure projects, public sector management, or foreign-funded programs. Prior experience working with international development partners and knowledge of PSDP procedures and public sector rules will be considered a significant advantage.
