Position: Senior Research Officer (Contract)
Location: Quetta, Balochistan

Eligibility Criteria
Academic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an HEC-recognized institution and registered with PEC.
Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering/Geotechnical Engineering from an HEC-recognized institution will be preferred.
Professional Experience:
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in highway material testing, quality control, and supervision of laboratory/field works.
Strong background in working with government/semi-government organizations and ability to supervise material testing laboratories.
Knowledge of ISO/BS/AASHTO/ASTM standards for road and building materials.
Proven experience in preparing technical reports, supervising engineers, and handling field/lab staff efficiently.
Technical Skills:
Hands-on experience with modern lab testing equipment for road and building material.
Strong skills in laboratory management, data recording, and technical report writing.
Ability to supervise staff, meet deadlines, and ensure quality compliance.
Terms of Engagement
The position is on a temporary contract basis for an initial period of 3 years, extendable based on performance and requirement.
Maximum age limit: 40 years (extendable as per rules).
Selection Process
Selection will be based on educational qualifications and professional experience, followed by an interview and practical test (if required).
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
No TA/DA will be provided for test/interview.
