Required Qualifications
Professional degree with at least 16 years of education from a recognized university or institution.
Education must be in one of the following fields:
Law
Business Administration
Engineering
Finance
Accounting
Economics
Power or Energy-related disciplines
Experience & Skills
Minimum 20 years of relevant professional experience in areas such as:
Law
Business
Engineering
Finance
Accounting
Economics
Power or Energy sector
Proven ability to:
Take ownership of responsibilities and make effective, timely decisions
Lead and manage a team of experienced professionals
Build and maintain strong working relationships in a diversified environment
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills

Terms and conditions will be similar to those offered to senior executives of public sector boards
Tenure of Appointment
Initial contract period of 3 years
Contract is extendable based on performance
However, the maximum age at the time of appointment shall not exceed 65 years
