The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC), Lahore has announced the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2025 through Advertisement No. 47/2025, published on 14 December 2025. This prestigious competitive examination is conducted to recruit BS-17 officers for various departments of the Punjab Government. Applications are invited online only from eligible candidates having Punjab domicile.

Compulsory Subjects (600 Marks)
English Essay – 100
English Precis & Composition – 100
Urdu (Essay, Precis, Comprehension & Translation) – 100
Islamic Studies / Ethics – 100
Pakistan Studies – 100
General Knowledge (MCQs) – 100
📌 Negative marking of 0.25 marks per wrong MCQ will be applied in General Knowledge.
Optional Subjects (600 Marks)
Candidates must select 3 optional subjects
Not more than one subject from the same group
Subjects include: Economics, Public Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, Political Science, Law, History, Psychology, Sociology, Education, English Literature, Urdu, Punjabi, Arabic, Persian, and others
